I am a casual gamer. I love video games, but being a college student and before that a child, I have never been able to afford the cutting edge of gaming. So I try to get as much out of the games I enjoy before I give them up.
I am currently on the path for a career somewhere between web design and journalism. Right now I am the editor for my community college newspaper. I'm 24 years old, Caucasian, female. Brownish-black hair, blue eyes.

This blog is called a Tale of Two Hunters because I played World of Warcraft for several years as a hunter, then began playing Lord of the Rings Online and again gravitated toward a hunter. Before that I played a hunter (tamer) in Ultima Online, but that has more to do with pets and less to do with archery. So I guess technically this blog should be called a Tale of Three Hunters. But I chose two because I might start playing WoW again if I can afford it. If I ever start playing UO again, or another MMO, I'll change it to 'Three'.

I used to blog about WoW. My blog is still there, I just put it on pause when I took a break from the game. I usually focused on machinima, filks, and a few rants and raves. So far I haven't found a lot of machinimas or filks for LotRO, and haven't played enough to get something to rant and rave about. I hope to find a niche in LotRO blogging.

I like to take screenshots and make wallpapers as well. That was my most popular topic on my WoW blog. (Oh, and reviewing sig generators, but that was lame and I don't want to do it anymore.) I still have a ton of screenshots in files to make wallpapers for WoW that I never got around to. I might do the same for LotRO.

My role-models for writing and blogging are Jerry Holkins from Penny Arcade, Temerity Jane, and specifically for LotRO blogging, A Casual Stroll to Mordor. I also love the podcasts done by Scott Johnson.

I'd like to get involved in the podcasting and blogging community for LotRO. I feel like I have something to offer here. The WoW community is so huge that it's impossible to feel useful anymore.

I am going to try to contribute to the Lorebook, and encourage everyone to do the same.
